The winter season extends from mid December until the beginning of April, with natural snow crunching under your skis and the superb panorama demanding to be looked at!

The Bregenzer Ach’s water travels almost 70 kilometres before it flows into Lake Constance. The closer it gets to the lake, the more quiet spots for sunbathing and wild bathing are to be found among the wooded valleys.

The "Schollamoos" is located in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Alberschwende. In the past, peat was extracted from this moor. Today, a well-maintained walking path leads through the birch forests and the moor area.

Come rain or snow, the Bregenz lakeside indoor pool provides a warm friendly place for swimming and splashing around. The protected area for children, with a waterchute and paddling pool, is the perfect place for the very youngest guests to play.

Our courses in winter include classic skiing for young and old, as well as freeriding and ski touring.

14 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, plus 55 km of top quality ski runs through stunning mountain scenery ensure an unrivalled winter experience. Snow-making equipment on 80% of the runs guarantees more than enough of the white stuff.

A round of billiards, a game of darts, the thrill of poker, a discussion at half-time of an important football match... That and more is the "Break".

Located in the rock massif behind the traditional “Gasthof Post”, the Vorarlberg Salt Grotto is accessible to both guests of the stylish hotel and non-residents. Constructed using 44 tons of Himalaya salt, it is the largest artificial salt grotto in Europe.
