The Gastra artificial ice rink offers the ideal opportunity to exercise outdoors in winter. Ice skates can be rented if required. Whether young or old, ice skating has lost none of its fascination. Of course, ice skating is by no means the only sport that can be practised "on ice".

Patrick's in Rankweil offers a leisure venue where billiards, snooker or darts can be played. In addition, different tournaments are organised throughout the year. The billiard centre is open daily.

Located in the rock massif behind the traditional “Gasthof Post”, the Vorarlberg Salt Grotto is accessible to both guests of the stylish hotel and non-residents. Constructed using 44 tons of Himalaya salt, it is the largest artificial salt grotto in Europe.

The Alberschwende - Brüggelekopf ski area is located in the Bregenzerwald. There are 2.5 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. 2 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area lies at an altitude of 720 to 1,200 m.
