High above Bürserberg at an altitude of 1,250 m, the Rona Alpe lies on the sunny Tschengla plateau. Located approx. 10 minutes from the walkers’ car park, guests to the Alpe can find a daily choice of fresh natural produce, which can also be purchased to take away.

Alp Stafel is located at 1,540 m above sea level and can be reached in about 30 minutes on foot from the Faschina car park. Here you can buy mountain cheese as well as milk and fresh alpine butter.

The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.

The Great Walser Valley can officially call itself a biosphere park, which indicates a high quality of life. For centuries, however, the population had to solve manifold problems in order to exist at all.
