The Egg Museum was founded as a local history museum in 1904. It is the oldest valley museum in the state of Vorarlberg. In 1988 it was reopened after several years of storage of the inventory in the old elementary school. The collection focuses on the Bregenzerwald region.

The Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, with its attractive, temporary exhibitions of contemporary and modern art, enjoys international renown.

The Lech Museum operates its facility as a house for culture, history and language with a supra-regional appeal in a contemporary manner and refers to socially relevant contemporary issues in its special exhibitions and publications.
