Since 1963 the Doppelmayr Company in Wolfurt has had a zoo, housing over 400 animals of over 70 different kinds.

Just below St. Gerold priory the contemplation and meditation trail winds its way past a series of carefully designed woodland pools through the stillness of the forest.

The toboggan run from Alpengasthaus Millrütte in Götzis is more leisurely. The beautiful one-kilometre-long route takes tobogganists through picturesque scenery to St. Arbogast.

The Feldkirch Wildlife Park provides families with a wonderful insight into animals and the natural world. Marmots, eagles, ibex and countless other animals can be admired here in the Wildlife Park in Feldkirch. A playground also ensures lots of fun and enjoyment.

Curlews, black-tailed godwits, even corn crakes have found a home in the marsh that is the Lauteracher Ried. As have larks, stonechats and whinchats that have long since died out elsewhere.

Daniel Swarovski, who founded his cut crystal company in Wattens, Tyrol, in 1895, had the vision from the very beginning to regard crystal not only as a material, but also as an inspiration.

Not only skiers love the Bödele, tobogganists are also magically drawn there. Ascending the mountain with the toboggan in tow: the toboggan run is two kilometres long; the lower part has bends and is sometimes steep.

Nature, herbs and their endless wealth have fascinated me for many years.
I pass on "old" and "new" knowledge during herbal walks and workshops.
