Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

The Alamannen-Museumsdorf Mäder is dedicated to the history and culture of the Alamanni, who immigrated to Vorarlberg in the 2nd half of the 6th century AD at the latest. They subsequently shaped the language, customs and mentality of the region.

The Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, with its attractive, temporary exhibitions of contemporary and modern art, enjoys international renown.

This museum houses a permanent collection of works by Vorarlberg artists since the 17th century, and also organises special exhibitions by leading figures in Vorarlberg art history.
