Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

Come rain or snow, the Bregenz lakeside indoor pool provides a warm friendly place for swimming and splashing around. The protected area for children, with a waterchute and paddling pool, is the perfect place for the very youngest guests to play.

Visit, wind down and let this place work its magic. The Waldsee Thermal Baths are all about the comforting warmth of spa water combined with bathing fun.

The FLATZ Museum in the former premises of the Alte Naturschau goes back to a donation of works by the artist FLATZ, born in Dornbirn in 1952, to the city of Dornbirn. It was opened in 2009 by the former documenta director Jan Hoet.

This museum houses a permanent collection of works by Vorarlberg artists since the 17th century, and also organises special exhibitions by leading figures in Vorarlberg art history.  

 

With the Skyspace Lech by the internationally renowned artist James Turrell, the Arlberg receives a work of art that invites to a unique experience of the perception of light and space.

The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.

The Lech Museum operates its facility as a house for culture, history and language with a supra-regional appeal in a contemporary manner and refers to socially relevant contemporary issues in its special exhibitions and publications.

For people of all ages, tobogganing has always been a great way to have fun - and at night it’s even better! Vorarlberg’s longest nighttime toboggan run takes you from Garfrescha right back down into the valley.
