The altitude difference of 1100 m on the north side of the mountain and the 500 m on the south side give the Niedere the best conditions for variant skiing.

14 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, plus 55 km of top quality ski runs through stunning mountain scenery ensure an unrivalled winter experience. Snow-making equipment on 80% of the runs guarantees more than enough of the white stuff.

Located well away from the large overcrowdsed ski areas, Warth-Schröcken, with its unrivalled snow record and interesting features, offers a secret haven for families and sports skiers alike.

Treat Your Feet to a Cold Bath

For people of all ages, tobogganing has always been a great way to have fun - and at night it’s even better! Vorarlberg’s longest nighttime toboggan run takes you from Garfrescha right back down into the valley.

The winter season extends from mid December until the beginning of April, with natural snow crunching under your skis and the superb panorama demanding to be looked at!

This is a place where excellent conditions for skiing can be expected: with 109 kilometres of ski runs and 29 ski lifts and cable cars Mellau Damüls Faschina is the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald.

On the estate of the Metzler family in Egg, visitors can see the production of natural cosmetics in a new building with a visitors' gallery in addition to the show barn where cows and goats live.
