Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

The Bludenz town archivist Alfons Leuprecht (1867-1940) started a collection of historical, folkloristic and natural history objects related to Bludenz even before the First World War.

Located in the rock massif behind the traditional “Gasthof Post”, the Vorarlberg Salt Grotto is accessible to both guests of the stylish hotel and non-residents. Constructed using 44 tons of Himalaya salt, it is the largest artificial salt grotto in Europe.

The Franz Schubert Museum traces the great Viennese composer’s life and work in rooms that were built shortly before his birth.

The symbol of the city of Bregenz, the Martin’s Tower offers not only fabulous panoramic views of the mountains, town and lake but also, thanks to the historical exhibition it contains, a deep insight into the city’s fascinating history.

The Kühne family has been running the agricultural estate in Meiningen for several centuries. It was always characterized by strong personalities who pursued their interests consistently and conscientiously.
