The symbol of the city of Bregenz, the Martin’s Tower offers not only fabulous panoramic views of the mountains, town and lake but also, thanks to the historical exhibition it contains, a deep insight into the city’s fascinating history.

The imposing neo-baroque church building from 1914 with double towers and a mighty dome dominates the townscape and is also called the "Cathedral of the Western Allgäu" because of its size.

The Montafon mining museum in Silbertal is an outstanding example of family-friendly history education. All age groups can experience the exciting world of mining in this exhibition and get to know first-hand the mining ways of life of bygone days.

This museum houses a permanent collection of works by Vorarlberg artists since the 17th century, and also organises special exhibitions by leading figures in Vorarlberg art history.  

 

Just below St. Gerold priory the contemplation and meditation trail winds its way past a series of carefully designed woodland pools through the stillness of the forest.

Even experienced practitioners will be thrilled by its special location as the course has chosen no less a garden than that of the historic Schattenburg Castle. A total of 18 different holes now challenge visitors with pyramids, bumps, loops and labyrinths in the castle gardens.
