The Natural History Museum invites visitors to explore the regional fauna and minerals up close.

Even experienced practitioners will be thrilled by its special location as the course has chosen no less a garden than that of the historic Schattenburg Castle. A total of 18 different holes now challenge visitors with pyramids, bumps, loops and labyrinths in the castle gardens.

The Vorarlberg World of Museums combines seven museums under one roof.

This museum houses a permanent collection of works by Vorarlberg artists since the 17th century, and also organises special exhibitions by leading figures in Vorarlberg art history.

Walter Legge (1906-1979) was the first and most important record producer in classical music.

The oldest parts of the building originate from the 15th century and the long corridors of the upper floors give us an idea of the architecture of the late Middle Ages. The urban flair of the building is the result of the boom of the mining period.

For half a century, the equipment of the shoemaker workshop of Karl Nachbauer (grandfather of the Schubertiade’s managing director Gerd Nachbauer) had been stowed away. Now it is on display in a small shoemaker museum, which takes up two rooms at Marktstraße 15.
